Suggestion for a metro feeder route between Hosahalli/Manuvana Metro station to Rajajinagar metro station via basaveshwaragar & chord road.
I propose an 8-shaped loop route to cover the areas between these two metro stations - has significant office goers & hence will be very beneficial.
Hosahalli metro station -> Chord Road -> National Public School/Girias (turn left) -> Basaveshwaranagar/Havnoor circle | BUS-BAY |-> ShankarMatt circle -> Modi Hospital -> Swathi Hotel Junction/Rajajinagar Metro | HALT | -> turn right on Chord Road towards Vijaynagar -> Chord Road/National Public School (turn right) -> Basaveshwaranagar/Havanoor circle -> KHB Colony/Magadi Road(Turn right) | BUS-BAY | -> Veeresh Theatre (turn right) -> Hosahalli metro station.
Suggestion: Run those shorter length buses with maximum standing & minimum seating(like a metro coach). Flat 10rs/ride fare; Front entry/Exit with driver only for manual tickets or metro card based automatic tickets payouts. Operating at frequencies of 10/15/20 mins between 7am to 9pm on weekdays. Even BMTC drivers will be happy for a weekend break.
BUS-BAY - With proper planning (since Tender Sure road work is ongoing, bus bays can be planned at Basaveshwarangar & Magadi road/KHB colony junctions.
Buses can run in both directions with different color codes (aligning to metro lines if necessary).
One bus arrives at the bus-bay/halt and then next bus leaves - this ensures continuous bus availability in the loop with realistic waiting times. Additional technology solutions (real-time positioning, crowd-shared data capture etc) can be devised for enhancing efficiency & effectiveness couple with enhanced customer experience - necessary consultancy can be provided by me.
Contact me on firstname.lastname@example.org for suggestions & consulting services on metro feeder solutions development & enhancements.
Timing(s) : 8:00 AM, 8:00 PM
Request a direct bus be introduced starting from Housing Board to Bommanahalli on the shortest route but time saving route. Commuters have to change
buses either at KBS or KR Market. Route 410 takes long time and the frequency is very less. Commuters lose time due to non-availability of direct bus service. The service can start at 7.30 a.m with the frequency of 15 minutes. Also return service be considered.
